Dear colleagues, It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate at the International Conference „Gender, Work, Family and Change” organized in the POSDRU Project „Reconstruction of women’s status: from discrimination, to equal chances and professional development” (ID 50679) to be held in Iasi, Romania, from September 20th to September 22nd 2013. The Conference hosting institution is the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Department of Psychology of Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences. The scientific program will offer a large range of presentations, discussions and meetings from distinguished keynote lectures to panels and thematic sessions. You are kindly invited to submit your abstracts for all the mentioned forms of presentation and to share your work with a great psychological, social sciences and gender studies community. The Conference organizers invite you to address such questions and propose your paper in line with the Conference title, particularly in relation to the following subthemes: - Gender equity and differences between sexes; - Women and personal and professional context and challenges; - Family systems: structure, processes; - Family stages, intergenerational transmission and children; - Family-work: psychological and organizational approaches; - Family, gender and health; - Gender aspects and individual, group and family therapy; - Individual, family and community resilience.

If you are interested in another topics related to the study of gender, family and work, we encourage you to organize a workshop. In this case, please submit a 200-300 words proposal to the same email address. We mention also that the full texts volume shall be offered free of charge next to the conference materials.
